A little about my work.

Traditionally, and by nature, I do landscape photography. Not beause it’s my favorite form of photograpy or because it’s what I’m best at. It’s simply the most convenient. I am outdoors as often as I can. Primarily because of sports or touring around various places around our beautiful planet.

But I’m beginning to branch out. I’m been getting into portrait because I find I have some talent there. I do themes because I have been experimenting along the route to photographic excellence (I didn’t say I was there).

I love to experiment with digital modificiations (click on the sinking church to see some). The possibilies to create interesting and beautiful is bountiful. Some think photographs should be modified but that’s just thoughtless dribble. News photography needs to be true to the scene, other photography doesn’t. Paintings never had to be true to the scene and had massive room for creativity. Why not creatively modified photo images? It’s a very challenging task. It’s one of the areas I am most interested into expanding my abilities.
